Do you see anything in this photo that looks like part of an airplane? https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2023/08/31/21/74926415-12462283-Can_you_spot_the_clue_to_Amelia_Earhart_s_disappearance_Experts_-a-2_1693513677305.jpg

No, I do not, but hard to tell with the sea-life.

It wasn't noticed for a long time, but when you do it's suddenly obvious. Identifying it could solve a great mystery, unfortunately its location on
the long reef wasn't recorded and getting there is very expensive and
requires permission from the local government.

I forgot to credit the source: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-12462283/Major-breakthrough-search-Amelia-Earhart-Experts-decipher-hidden-text-aluminum-panel-reveal-new-photo-prove-aviatrix-died-remote-island-spot-smoking-gun.html

It isn't the shape centered in the red circle.

Several aircraft crashed on nearby islands during WW2 and the salvaged metal was traded around, so the source of each discovered piece must be proven.
Also Earhart wasn't as highly skilled as famous and she suffered landing and takeoff damage that was repaired with what was locally available, and not properly recorded. If that patch was from her Lockheed Electra it should
match the aluminum Pan Am stocked in Miami to repair their flying boats. The rivet pattern might not match anything if it was a hasty replacement for a non-standard window she may have broken in a rough landing.
