Why did some 140 out of 193 countries decide not to condemn Russia for
its aggression against Ukraine?
If you are referring to UN Resolution ES 11/1 condemning Russia’s
invasion of Ukraine and demanding an immediate withdrawal, you are sadly
wrong. The vote was 141 in favor of the resolution and only 5 against, including Russia and its flunky allies of Belarus, Syria, North Korea
and Eritrea.
But if you are talking about UN Resolution ES 11/4 condemning the
referendum and as illegal and asking countries of the world not to
recognize them, you are also sadly mistaken. The vote was 143–5. Voting against the resolution were Russia, Belarus, Syria, North Korea, and
Nicaragua.
There is an old saying that a person is known by the company he keeps.
The same is true for a country.

They will continue to believe what they want. Facts do not matter to
many people. Not a bit.

Well put! Five countries where the governments are sorely in place of replacement in fact, not theoretically, so the people there can rejoin
the human race.
