he did at times recognize some failures.
He has not posted in quite a while now.
I hope the government did not sieze him

Could be that he is hiding under the bed to avoid being drafted. Much
like Rudy Canoza did during the entire Vietnam /conflict/war/police
action/etc.

No, I do not think so.

Actually, just thinking off hand for a minute here,
I figure he was middle aged, probably did serve
in a USSR military service, writing about an
area of interest for himself, and somehow using that
to get a modest stipend to supplement his very
meager pension.

I'm just very lucky.
Probably, all of us who post on these two newsgroups are.
