    Dan, exactly. There is no point. It is too bad we, as viewers, cannot watch some races as they were
    run in King Richard's day...whatever modifications can be made for competition's sake, are o.k. Like,
    one of the old-timers talking about filling the hollow tubular frame of his car with gas, so he could drive
    home even with an empty gas tank. One of the drawbacks would be, of course, a race finished with all
    but the winner multiple laps down at the end. Still, it would be fun to watch.
