• 5L40E transmission in a Range Rover

Fuck me, what genius put a light-duty gearbox in the Range Rover?
They crapped out in Cadillacs and Holdens, which are 400 kg lighter.
And they are not cheap to rebuild. Fucken junk, only good for a boat anchor.

    I'd never buy a Range Rover... over-engineered and expensive. I haven't
heard great things about reliability. Manual transmission whenever
    possible!

Lots of cars like that. They’re for the rich folks. Daughter in law bought
a Mercedes but after a few years she ran out of money :)

They are highly strung performance sports cars, what would you expect?
Those types of cars crave constant attention and it costs. If you have
the cash, buy one. If you haven't, then avoid.

Nothing astonishes Noddy so much as common sense and plain dealing.
