You understand the tests are defined to permit full-time front wing DRS?

    Care to cite that?

Do you imagine they haven't seen it?

Do you imagine that other teams have not and haven't implemented it

Why do you not understand the basics of:

If it passes the tests set in the regulations it is LEGAL.

    Just watch the friggin video.

Or just keep uncontextually blathering, as is your MO

    Why?

Will the video magically make the wing that passed the tests it was
required to pass into something illegal?

So blathers the INFINITE STIFF, his MO...

Of course a test could be devised to limit flap relaxation at various
speeds up to terminal velocity, with and without DRS activated.

The ability to formulate such as test has nothing to do with 'infinite stiffness', YFS.

    Go ahead, INFINITE STIFF.

I do not understand why people whine about this.

    This is "formula car" racing.

You get a set of regulations (the "formula") for building your car.

    You build to that formula.

What the hell does it matter if something flexes?

May 2021 was how many relaxing revisions ago?

Compare the two at Brazil, which is the point at issue.

My point is why the hell do you CARE?

The "rule" that no aerodynamic device can move is clearly a physical impossibility, so they created load tests to let teams know where the
    limits on movement are set.

In principle, this is in no way different than the fact that the 85mm
rule about DRS gap specifies a force (10 Newtons, if I recall; about
2.24 pounds) at which the gauge cannot pass through the opening. If it
won't at 10N, but will at 10.001N, it's legal. There is no doubt that
that element flexes as well, and if the AoA (angle of attack) of the
flap is such that it experiences and upward force, then at high speed,
the gap might be more than 85mm.

BUT IT WOULD STILL BE LEGAL!
