    ... boring after all.

Well P1 was, but pretty much everything else was enough to keep one
    watching.

Yes, I thought it was a fine race.
    Overtaking was certainly possible.
Seemed to be a good test of car and driver's
    abilities.

I think it would have been better if the front straight DRS had been...

    (honestly guessing for a number)

    ...20% shorter.

Some of the DRS passes were just too easy.

The only thing good about the track is the layout, several good passing places.

Good race overall. Max just ran off into the distance again, but the rest was pretty competitive. Merc seems to be back which is nice and Ferrari seems to be reliable.

And it was somewhat unique in that it was one of
the few WDC F1 races in which every car that
started, finished. The slowest was only one lap
    behind the leader.
No full course yellow, no red flags. Just race
    and work your strategy.
(Surprise - that was also true for 2023 Miami !
How many others have done that lately ?)

So what are the *bad* things about the track IYO? It seems fine to me now
that they have reverted to more or less the old layout.

Perhaps I am just getting old and somewhat bored with my old fancies,
but it seems to me that -- in my case -- the enjoyment of any given race depends more on the competitiveness of the various teams than on the
    track. Monaco excepted.

(I have never like the Monaco race. Not since the sixties then the cars
were small enough to navigate the track. Today's much larger cars just
do not suit the track. But I digress.)

If the cars are not able to compete on equitable terms, we get dull
races. I'm sure that Max has a great time. And I'm sure his fans and his
teams as well. Speaking as a fan of the sport, not so much.

I have no solution to offer. Red Bull should not be penalized for taking
full advantage of the current rules. The other teams just didn't do as
good a job. But it does hurt the average fans, I suspect.

    2020: none
