Hamilton: Bottas "left the door open" to Verstappen in
F1 Mexico GP start

Lewis Hamilton says Mercedes Formula 1 team-mate Valtteri Bottas
"left the door open" for Max Verstappen to pass at the start of
the Mexican Grand Prix.
Polesitter Bottas and Hamilton had locked out the front row for
Mercedes, with the team hoping to use that opportunity to exert
control on the Mexico City race early on.
The two were three-wide heading into the first corner with
Verstappen, who swept around the outside and claimed the lead
of the race with Hamilton in pursuit - while Bottas was left
facing the opposite direction after contact with a late-braking
Daniel Ricciardo precipitated a spin.
Hamilton said after the race that he was trying to protect his
side of the circuit, but felt that Bottas had not demonstrated
the same tactic at the start.
----" and I thought Valtteri would be doing the same.
But obviously, he left the door open for Max ----"
---Toto Wolff --- but felt that his two cars could have
warded off an immediate threat from Verstappen at the start---

Fucking media huh? Wait for a slight slip then twist and turn it into a click-bait headline.
Mind you it wasn't the media who used the words 'criticises' or
'chipping'...

You'll note that old racist a425 commented not only
on a Hamilton criticism but also offered an 'atta boy'
for Larson, who is also known to use racist language.

I would suggest that it wasn't Hamilton "reflecting on [his comments]",
it was rather him having to straighten up what the media had twisted.
It's not like post-race media interviews have been scripted by a PR
team. Often exhausted elite athletes are asked pointed and often leading questions almost as soon as they're out of the car.

Seriously Misfit ???
Blame it on "the media" ?
Are you suggesting that nobody should ask any questions
until the drivers have had an hour to relax and think
things through ((and the fans have all tuned off)) ?
Or maybe, like any sports celebrity, he needs to
be careful of what he says.
Yes, 'criticism' was the media headline hype, not borne out by the facts which was more along the lines of a simple observation.

And others appear to see things in a different 'certain way'. Some in an objective way, and some subjective often with a predisposition for a discriminatory or just nasty slant.
