I can't say VER because I can't be sure the pitstops wouldn't have
unwound in Ferrari's favour if they'd managed to not blow up, so
perhaps he chanced into the win. RUS gained 2 from the retirements
too, so perhaps could be considered lucky to get a podium. However,
he did do better than a 7-times world champion in the same car, so
at least a case could be made for his drive being worthy.
But I'll sit on the fence - even the raciest who did some impressive overtakes also made some mistakes - noone was perfect.

great overall impression. For example Hamilton put in quite a decent performance but his pace was often well below that of GR.
VER as winner gets it by default and he did outperform his teammate by
quite a margin.

PER had to cede, equally could not challenge, and there was no point
in stressing or breaking anything.
