Interesting timing. The thanksgiving holiday is huge for professional and college football (the pointy kind...) in the states. If they are focusing on the 18-24 demographic's attention, it will be fractured as those people are the same ones who are
watching and attending the college sports. And, that weekend is already a big travel holiday so I don't see how it adds to the volume of people in Las Vegas. It will certainly pump up the hotel rates but a different weekend would probably have been
better if the city wanted to focus on added tourist draw from F1, IMHO.

I'm sure F1 and the city will put on a good show but the viewer and physical attendance numbers will be interesting.

The onsite F1 parlay and gaming market will soar.

F1's pursuit of money in Las Vegas predates DtS by some decades.
Whether or not it's a desert mirage is another question.

Pretty certain the casinos will remain open throughout & the corwds for
the F1 will be seen as a bonus
trafic on the strip is usually a night mare anyway & it is often better to
walk (mono rail runs behind the west side of the strip as well.
I would bet it is the resorts that have been the prime drivers in this
