Interesting, thanks for this. I didn't know she was from New Zealand but I wonder if that really matters anymore with her family in France and 10 months on the circuit.

On the nosey side, I wonder how much she gets paid? Probably a fraction of what Lewis takes in.

I remember reading about how much pro golfer's caddies get paid and, I think, there was a % of winnings deal for the better ones. Which leads to another question, how much are the actual prize purses in F1. Or is that even part of the sport?

Cheers. Her husband Silas is a New Zealander too (as well as being a sportsperson turned
'trainer'), they only live in Europe because that's where their work is. Like most successful NZers
who go overseas to work they'll probably bring their family 'home' when they retire.

On the nosey side, I wonder how much she gets paid? Probably a fraction of what Lewis takes in.

The gos is it's only 100k pounds a year from her agency Hintsa Performance (maybe she gets bonuses
from Lewis / Merc?) but she also gets endorsement deals and (again found on teh webz) she's 'worth'
    $15 million.

As I understand it there are no longer 'grand prix' (big prizes) for each race, just the FOM payout
at the end of the year to the teams. Drivers salaries are of course negotiated with teams and could
    have performance bonuses included.

You can tell how much Hamilton relies on her if you read the F1 site here: <https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.hamilton-says-halo-saved-my-neck-in-monza-and-gives-his-take-on-verstappens.74O5rEkGP4cCj0E9A3ak76.html>

She was trained as a sports phsyio in NZ, a damned good one too. Then she trained with Hintsa who concentrates on the mind. There is a video of him on the internet, it goes through his history and ideas about sportsmen, motivation, etc. it is worth
finding and viewing attentively. Some blokes could benefit from his motivation to get off their arses and do something ... anything.

Makes you wonder why Lewis is always such a negative ninny in the car, then.

I am starting to think that it is intentional to throw off the opposition.

He very often complains about the tyres and then puts in fastest laps. Verstappen did that today as well.

    Cheers
