    Are you still getting it? For a while most sites were blocking all traffic from google to stop it, but it seems to have stopped here a week or so ago,
    so someone upstream is cleaning it without dropping all google posts.

    All the decent news servers are sharing ways to get rid of it. Someone
    in Thailand (From the alphabet being used) seems to have found a way to persuade Google Groups to host or distribute the spam.

    GG don't care, and there has been talk of just removing Google groups
    from the usenet peering arrangements.
