Bots posting drug and auto parts deals? For years, this was my favorite forum on the internet. I feel like the native American guy in that old commercial, looking at the pile of trash with a tear in his eye.

At least I still have my first RNC. A forlorn reminder of a more civilized galaxy.

If you search FB, you will find a few groups that may suit your needs,
    such as this one:-

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/RecordingMixing

Or you could join or set up a Mastodon server.

on what you see every day - your "feed". And some many people fall for it, and it influences their views, their politics, and how they vote. How do you think the 1/6/2021 'visit' to the Capitol was organized? 80 percent on social platforms!

I would rather interact with others about common topics in UseNet groups dedicated to those topics, or, on moderated subject-specific forums, than

    RNC, Republican National Committee?

How many years have you been active in this newsgroup?
    HINT: rather RHETORIC question!!!

It should be long enough, that you should know, what "RNC" stands for in
this group´s context: *Really Nice Compressor*

HINT 2 - especially for you, Chris K-Man:
only and simply mentinoning a compressor device or using it does NOT

Thanks, but I will wait for SCOTT DORSEY himself
to explain what RNC stands for. A less pedantic user
    for sure.

Nowhere did I say that I was completely "anti-dynamic-
compression". I am against the OVERUSE of said
compressors and limiters during the last twenty or
    so years.

It's great to see you're all(?) still here. I check in most days, maybe someone will start a thread of interest. Botspam aside, it's a nice place to visit.

Thanks, but I will wait for SCOTT DORSEY himself
to explain what RNC stands for.

Or just look up the product in question on the company´s website, before "SCOTT DORSEY himself" finds time to do that.

    https://fmraudio.com/rnc.html

The URL is as clean and direct as possible. In case, you choose to not
trust, that it´s clean and harmless -> copy the URL above and let
    VirusTotal do a scan https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/url

Another option is to do a search with your preferred web search site for
"rnc compressor", which should show the company´s product page linked
    above, as well.
