It's a stupid policy based on stupid reasons.
My earlier statements saying it was not a 2nd Amendment violation was wrong.
I based my opinion upon my misunderstanding of Vermont gun laws.
I found that they did not have permits for open and concealed carry.
I assumed they were not legal.
But the actual reason for not issuing such permits is
that Vermont is actually an open carry state,
and permits are not necessary.
