• Adams is crying over Biden destruction of America

From ScottW@21:1/5 to All on Sat Sep 9 08:11:32 2023
New York City Mayor Eric Adams sounded a dire warning about the future of his city as it grapples with an influx of over 110,000 migrants under the Biden administration.

“Let me tell you something, New Yorkers. Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to,” he said.

“I don’t see an ending to this. I don’t see an ending to this. This issue will destroy New York City,” he continued. “Destroy New York City,” Adams stated emphatically. “We’re getting 10,000 migrants a month.”

He went on to highlight the fiscal challenges the city is facing, saying, “We had a $12 billion deficit that we’re going to have to cut. Every service in this city is going to be impacted. All of us.”

Adams underscored that the impact would extend to neighborhoods, adding, “It’s going to come to your neighborhoods. All of us are going to be impacted by this.”

Adam doesn't mention Biden, but he does mention Abbott if not by name:

“We’ve turned this city around in 20 months,” Adams said. “And then what
happened? Started with a madman down in Texas, decided he wanted to bus
people up to New York City: 110,000 migrants.”

Previously, from Aug 31: "We are sending a clear and loud message and
joining the message of others. The Biden-Harris administration and
Congress must come up with a real solution."

That would include the Republican-controlled House of Representatives.

Do you support Adam's call for expedited work permits?

Adams: "We know how much there's at stake in this fight for work
permits, but let's be clear, while Congress has a role to play in fixing
our immigration system, we believe the federal government could be doing
    more."

What federal actions providing relief to migrants do you support?

    Perla Huerta recruited them.

Who did a good job finding resources and assisting the migrants. Any

The last of dozens of migrants shipped to Martha’s Vineyard last month
are set to depart temporary shelter at a military base on Cape Cod for transitional housing by the end of the weekend, according to
    Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker’s administration...

The planes with the migrants landed on Sept. 14. Two days later, 49
migrants were moved to Joint Base Cape Cod for shelter and humanitarian
    aide.

Of those, 14 have already left the base for opportunities in
Massachusetts and elsewhere. The remaining 35 were working with case
managers to develop more sustainable housing plans, according to Baker’s administration.

While on the base, the migrants were provided with temporary shelter,
food, clothing and hygiene supplies, legal aid, and access to health
care, mental health, crisis counseling services.

A community services organization on Martha’s Vineyard also helped
provide financial assistance to those receiving shelter at the base.

just so you are clear on this, the migrants did not
begin their journey in Texas. They started in South or Central America and then crossed some thing known as

Good for those 39 migrants in MV.
