Just wondering about the virulent antipathy to "wokeness"

In review, our two quarterwits have been unable to either
define "wokeness" or explain their terror of it. So I'll rely on
the most general, humanistic, well-informed working definition.
Wokeness means being aware of, and consciously eschewing,
words and actions that are bigoted in nature or intent. This
simple definition does not entail legal sanctions of previously
unknown behaviors. Nor does it conflict with the provisions of
the First Amendment.
Wokeness is a category of politeness or consideration. It's similar
to holding open a door for a person pushing a baby stroller or
carrying packages. If an individual chooses not to behave in
accordance with the principle of consideration, they are not
subject to legal penalties. As a whole, wokeness is a set of
behaviors that enable people of different origins and abilities
to interact more smoothly in an open society.
On that basis, I can't be sure why Shmoo 1 and Shmoo 2 harbor
such intense antipathy toward wokeness. My best guess is that
they, like most of the MAGA fascists, place the highest priority
on seeing themselves as victims of persecution. If this guess
is accurate, it points to an incredibly broad and intense case
of projection, since the MAGA-turds are the least tolerant of
all segments of society.
