Burbank is hitting its average high at 8 AM?

That was Friday at 3 PM on KFI.

Yesterday my Iphone weather report declared
    "Extreme Heat Alert"
    High .....81

    But today I'm really worried.
    It says "Excessive Heat Warning"
    Current temperature 72
    High ..83

Seems like an important detail. Isn't KFI a radio station?

Aren't they expecting 100+ in the foothills? Be sure to take water with
you on your trip to the Reagan library.

Yesterday my Iphone weather report declared
    "Extreme Heat Alert"

The iPhone weather app is widely mocked by actual weather pros, like
    this tweet:

"In general your generic weather app on your phone is going to be hot
garbage. It's just regurgitated/averaged computer model data with no
    human input.

In this case, the iPhone weather app has been hot STEAMING garbage
lately. Precip chances have been a big prob this summer."

General mockery based on Central Texas.

    But today I'm really worried.
    It says "Excessive Heat Warning"
    Current temperature 72
    High ..83

You live in a coastal area. Too bad the app doesn't distinguish.

It does. Uses my location to provide closest weather station data
    which happens to be Vista.

Can't tell you why you're included in an inland heat warning.

Too bad about those tv chyron operators.

Here in D.C. area, a radio station used to have a pub crawl.

When I do, it's not AM talk radio, no matter the station's history. Are
