• And while we're at it....the crazy side....

If Joe pulled this off with minimal casualties....I'd call the old goat a freeking genius.

But this path is fraught with peril including initiating the exact disaster the writer (Peter Oland who I have no clue what his qualifications are for endorsing such a plan) seeks to avoid. Given Joe's reluctance to endorse the raid on Bin Laden, a
far less perilous effort, I can't him see him ever doing this unless he thought it was his only hope to save his sorry ass from defeat.

A sad reason to risk other's lives.

Not with Blinken, Sullivan, Afghanistan fiasco.

Better to threaten Russia with bombing one of their nuclear plants, preferably close to one of their major cities. And follow through it if we have to.

Or negotiate, Send Kamala on a road trip in a yellow school bus. Dazzle Putin with
Venn diagrams and her silly giggles.

Now that's even crazier IMO. Let's have 2 radiological disasters and put ourselves
on the same moral plane as Putin.

I'd hope we'd have some better and more reliable equipment than 50 years ago.

My next question....where would such a mission originate from?
A NATO country? Would Russia respond by attacking the base and
this insanity forces an Article 5 debate? I doubt all of NATO would be willing
to get dragged into a conflict we started and NATO ends up being the casualty. My next question would be....could we even bring forth such a plan to NATO for approval without tipping the Russians?

All good considerations. The vulnerability of the power plant is
especially acute following the Russian sabotage of the Kakhovka Dam.
