A semi-hysterical commentator on cable news said yesterday
that DeShittius wants to roll back a century of progress if he
gets into the White House. That time span includes both the
establishment and revocation of Prohibition. Also the repeal
of the sensible ban on weapons of war. His antipathy to LBGT+
people is overt, as is his vendetta against women's health care.
Will he take up arms against miscegenation, do you think?
How about the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act
(what remains of it, anyway)? Will he try to repeal federal
"sin taxes" on tobacco, alcohol, marijuana, etc.? How about
excise taxes on petro-fuels - are roads and bridges really so
important?
