• Here's why I say Biden is taking the wrong approach

The gov't should be using federal land in Ca., Az. or Nev deserts to build a massive solar plant that can meet all of America's power needs.

This would be a project akin to the Hoover dam (a project the gov't financed and paid off from power output over 50 years) whose power output is managed by the Fed gov't under the Bureau of Reclamation But Joe has no vision.
Instead he's screwing the American consumer by trying to make current energy sources too expensive and let the markets switch to renewables as more competitive.
As Stephen has pointed out....the utility companies are using the "transition" to generate massive profits power infrastructure construction. Probably paying off the gov't and the Biden crime family so keep it going.
It's an idiotic approach that is slow, economically painful for consumers, and likely to be wholly rejected by voters in '24.

SDGE with the highest %renewables and highest rates in the country just implemented another big fat rate increase in Jan. With all their BS fees included....I now pay over 50c/kWh while living next to a vast desert full of solar energy.
