House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on Thursday defended the police officer who shot Ashli Babbitt during the January 6 Capitol riot, saying that the officer was just doing his job.
McCarthy’s comments came as he was asked to respond to statements from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who has said that Babbitt was murdered while inside the Capitol during the January 6 riot.
If an average business owner shot a BLM rioter smashing through his doors in any dem run city, they'd be charged with murder.
But our "representatives" get special protection. Shoot to kill if the congress reps are scared.

I agree with the title of this thread. The salient cowardice has nothing to do with
the Babbitt criminal. Rather, I'd like to recognize McCarthy's quivering, craven
cowardice in failing to confront the criminal mastermind of the failed coup against the United States - Donald F. Trump.
