Is there anyone out there who is familiar with SoundTools? I have a question.
I have recently purchased a SoundTools II card and Digidesign "Audio Interface" AD/DA.
With this system I am running the version of Sound Designer II that came
with the package.
It is version 2.7
Everything seems to work out fine except one thing.
When I launch the software and the soundfile window appears, the upper
left hand corner of the window does not have the Mac to Sampler Icon. Also the word "Sampler..." does not appear under the Setup menu.
I find this odd considering these items appear in the printed manual for version 2.7???
One thing I don't have installed on my Mac is any MIDI Drivers or MIDI Manager. The manual says that the software should work without them but
I'm somehow starting to wonder....
I am running a MacII vi with a Daystar 030 40Mhz accelarator card under System 7.1.
If my problem stems from not having the proper MIDI drivers then could someone tell me any ftp sites that they are available at. Or are those
the kind of things you must purchase directly from Apple?
