• Infinity Composition Overture 1 Question

Fuse continued to blow on the subwoofer amp so I opened things up. The component marked MOV1 on the PCB looks to be totally melted. It is called out as a Varistor 200V (Part #VA1009).

My thought was just to replace this component. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Go ahead and do that, but if an MOV has melted it is likely you
suffered a surge big enough to damage the rest of the power supply.
You'll need to decide if it is worth replacing parts, so initially
just remove the remains of the MOV and power it up again.

The next parts to test are the bridge rectifier and large electrolytic capacitor. After that it gets a bit more specific and impossible to
    diagnose at a distance.
