    Indiana Jones 5 is planned to start filming in April 2019. Spielberg is
    saying it will probably be Harrison Ford's last time in the role and
    Disney is saying there will be more.

    Not sure if he was being serious or not, but Spielberg did say that
    there's no problem re-casting the role with a female lead, although
    they'd have to change the name to Indiana Jane.

    I wouldn't be a all surprised if the morons in Hollyweird did
    idiotically swap to a female ... it's illegal these days to employ
    white males for anything. :-\

    There was also a female Indy-clone in the three-season TV series 'Relic Hunter' <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relic_Hunter>
    BUT "Indiana Jones" is not a female character ... neither is James Bond
    ... neither is Doctor Who, but that hasn't stopped the 'Politically
    Correct' / 'Equality' nutters from ruining that franchise with two
    gender swapped roles. X-(
