I always hate when the show changes a character's basic personality
and character that was established over the show's long history.
This is what has happened to Victoria.
She created the cosmetics division of Newman Enterprises, and over the
years she fought tooth and nail to save it and keep it in under Newman >umbrella. The show devote weeks, months and even years to this theme
off and on. And now, suddenly, Victoria non-chalantly sells off the
Brash & Sassy (her "baby") to Jabot, which was her fiercest competitor >against whom she fought all these long battles.
It makes absolutely no sense, and once again the history and
continuity of the show is ignored for a cheap plot.
And even worse, Victoria laughably want her mother to be COO -- Chief >Operations Officer -- of Newman? What a joke. A stripper turned rich
man arm-candy suddenly knows how to use complex spreadsheets,
understands corporate lingo, and is supposed to be expert in all the >intricacies of running a giant global corporation that it would take
many years for anyone with an advanced college education and years of >experience to learn? PUH-LEASE!
