In 1972 Burt Reynold did a nude centerfold in Cosmopolitan Magazine, in 1977 Arnold Schwarzenegger. Another man to grace the center pages was Scott Brown, now a Massachusetts senator, but in June 1982 a law student who had entered and won the magazine'
So people were kind of used to this centerfold thing in the 80s and it was old news really. Btw, while all the gentlemen were in the buff, arms and hands were strategically place to cover them.
Imagine Arnold became a governor and a Senator Scott Brown, who is now Ambassador to New Zealand. Obviously it did not hurt their career. :)
