Does anyone still follow this group...?
Or it just might be a good sign that the 2 CBS soaps are so utterly boring that no one has the urge to share their reaction?
It really has been bad. Hey, writers, were you told to kill this soap? You are doing a fine job.

I still lurk, but since I don't watch anymore, I've got
nothing new and/or clever to post.

Considering that NBC moved its one remaining soap to
streaming-only, I'm wondering if the other two broadcast
networks will be doing likewise Real Soon Now.

I read that Victor was featured briefly on the CBS fall
preview show. If they're at least acknowledging Y&R that
way, I'll predict that it will be the last soap moved
    to a streaming-only platform.

Nyssa, who lurks but doesn't watch and definitely won't
    stream anything

I've been lurking in RATSC since the late 1990's. Sadly, this ng isn't as active as I like.

A few years ago, I discovered Reddit which is like Usenet. I post regularly on https://www.reddit.com/r/boldandbeautiful/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/youngandtherestless/

Since they're moderated discussion groups, they may not be for everyone but I enjoy the discussion on Reddit.

    Good to hear from you.
I haven't been watching much - I record all soaps and watch a little here and there and delete.
Sad that the two soaps on CBS have nothing for me nowadays.
I have had Peacock - NBC has had some of my favorite shows on over the years, and it is nice to binge them and watch them without commercials.
So have a nice Halloween and whatever follows.

Good timing on using Peacock already when DAYS stopped airing on
NBC and aired exclusively on Peacock since September 12, 2022.

DAYS pushed the envelope recently by airing 3 characters engaging
    in a consensual threesome!

    Hi Renate,
I still check in here from time to time. But I think the newsgroups
are all on the decline with so many other options that are available -
    like Facebook groups.
But I don't like the Facebook groups for Y&R/B&B because there are way
too many people. I <3 this newsgroup because it's been pretty much
a small, friendly group of posters here.

I don't have to watch that; I have a real life one in my family! My
sister's grandson "N" got married two years ago to "A" (I actually
officiated at the ceremony). They didn't go on a honeymoon; instead
her "best friend" -- I'll call her "B" -- immediately moved in with
them into their one bedroom apartment. There are ways that could have
been perfectly innocent, considering the rent prices around here. But
they made no pretenses. "B" proudly tells anybody who will listen
that she is "pansexual", which I gather means that she will have sex
with anything that moves and probably some things that don't. And my
nephew's wife "B" now says that she is openly bisexual. And two years
later the three of them are still all happily living together in a
menage a trois. I live with my sister in her home, and for the past
two years N, A, and B have spent Christmas with us. At first it was
really awkward and took some getting used to. But now we treat B just
like she's part of the family at holidays and other times when we see
    them.
My sister and I jokingly call A and B my nephew's "sister wives."--
and they're not even Mormon, LOL.

Well, now its 6 months later, April, and I just saw your post. I do
check in once in a while to see if there is anything new besides the
    ubiquitous spam in RATSC.

I'm still watching Y&R due to a lifelong habit, although the
storylines have been wavering between silly and uninteresting lately
-- and they only keep getting worse. I fast forward through every
scene with Devon, Billy and a couple of others. The whole Phyllis
faking her own death to frame Diane is the stupidest yet; It's
ludicrous beyond belief. We are to believe that Phyllis would crush
her children and the few friends she has and make things so they
would never see her again in order to... what, get some sort of petty
revenge on something that happened decades ago? And yet, here I am,
    still watching :-)
And it was so predictable that Phyllis would do the Tom
Sawyer/Huckleberry Finn thing and attend her own funeral.
