1. Sharon and Rey's troubles will get worse. Rey will get sicker. No deaths are predicted at this. Rey's sickness will resemble the covid crisis.

2. Faith will be departing. Again, no deaths are expected, but who knows??? She will be expected to join a new sitcom.

3. A new headwriter is expected to take over. I believe her first name is Sally or Susan, which could mean just about anything!

4. Ashland Locke may discover the truth about his wife, son, and Kyle;

5. What could these development mean? Anywhere from next to nothing, to a murder. Let's hope Sally or Susan what's-her-name knows what she's doing!

OMG, we need a little reality in the writing. The current writing team has no clue about human interactions and feelings,
nor of police procedure (a cop rolling out of a hospital bed and like Speedy Gonzales investigates his own attempted murder case!),
nor of any medical procedures (this quickie insemination story).
I hope we are getting some writers with some experience on this planet.

I've been watching Y&R since the very beginning in the 70's. There
have been plenty of ups and downs in the storylines and script
writing, but it was never as bad as it's been in the past few years,. Especially recently. The latest storyline is absolute crap about
Chelsea faking her stroke recovery and framing Adam for a felony. What
bothers me most about it is that yet again, the writers are changing
the very character of familiar characters. Adam and Chelsea had this
great love for one another and with a stroke of a pen we're supposed
to believe that suddenly Chelsea despises Adam enough to want him in
prison?

But old habits die hard and I guess I'll probably keep watching to the
bitter end. I just hope that a new head writer can bring life back
into Y&R. For the love of God, give the fans something we want for a
change instead of the awful pairings. Over the years the very best,
most riveting soap stories have been when couples in love have stood
together against the world. Adam and Chelsea used to do this. And
I'm so tired of having to fast forward past boring dialog (the entire
Abby story) and unoriginal, repetitive things like Devon bouncing back
and forth between Amanda and Elena. TBH I couldn't even tell you which
one he's with now.

Does anyone know...
In the present reality, how much does the covid crisis exist? People are keeping their distance, but should so many non-related people be making a baby? I think that one holiday (Thanksgiving?) was changed, with food trays being delivered. If they became
realistic about it, it might have worked out better.
I say 'might have' because I agree...not much can save it, now!!!
