• OMG! 5 After Midnight!

They SMASHED it! Until they sang I thought that Matt Terry was "The
Chosen One" -- and he sang fantastic tonight. But 5 After Midnight,
well, that wasn't like a reality competition song, that was a polished
stage performance well beyond this level of competition.

I've been saying that I didn't have a favorite this season. Well I
    think I do now.

Congratulations Louis Walsh. You've got a potential winner in your
stable. And in a season where there are several excellent acts. I'm
    really enjoying XF again.

    I thought so too.

Same here. It's hard to get a favourite through auditions and boot
camp, and even the 6 chairs is a mad rush. I felt they could be a
favourite when I saw them at judge's house and they seem even more
    professional already.

I so agree. It's gotten to the point where it's not entertaining,
it's simply annoying. I agreed yesterday that the three in the bottom
were among the bottom 4, but Honey G should have been the one to go
home. What in the world are the UK X-Factor voters thinking? She's
clearly a joke act, not a real talent. It's the same thing over and
over each week as you pointed out.
The worst part about it is that real talent are going home before her.
Yes, Freddy had an off night Saturday. But I was kind of shocked that
he was eliminated. There were worse -- including "H to the O to the
N-E-Y, when I say "Honey," you say, "G."

They just report what people say, stuff like she's a fake, or the old
    "fix".

What annoys me is that the joke act usually has some talent. Maybe not
for actual singing, but they entertain, they do quite well, and get work
after the show. This year I am not entertained.

But clearly some people do like it - even Simon. :-/ Not to mention my daughter who said she'd enjoyed her performance the first week ( I have
no idea what she thought of her this week, if she even saw the show -
she has a new baby and life is somewhat disrupted! ) much to my horror.

So some will vote because they enjoyed it. Some will vote because they
like to think it makes a mockery of the show - and my favourite idea -
how many genres can she keep on with "I say Honey...", let's keep her
    in. ;-)

The worst part about it is that real talent are going home before her.

Freddy's sing off was great. Showed what he is capable of.
