Personally I think there should, but get back to basics and get closer to
the way Stan Lee/Jack Kirby meant for it to be! I would like to keep The >Thing as CGI, and have potential for a Hulk vs. The Thing film.

I recently bought the Captain America/Avengers movie, and while I enjoyed
    it, it had no plot!
The mysterious enemies turned out to be one unsuperpowered man, whose
family were killed. The rift between the Avengers resulted in quite a lot
    of them behind bars..
It was interesting to see Captain America's shield become completely
magic, and there were a lot of clever uses of dialogue, but...

    nothing happened.

What need to happen is a Fantastic Four movie with LOTS of action and a credible foe for them to fight OR situations where we see them using their powers A LOT. We don't need another origin story where we spend half the movie with them prior before their
powers leading up to the launch, another 25 percent of the movie with them adjusting to being super and the last 20 minutes fighting one guy.

If you read some of the earlier John Byrne stuff, he has them doing soe pretty cool stuff and fighting other super groups which display their powers and Reed leadership role.

Even "Civil War" had some great super heroes punch-ups. Can you imagine The Fantastic four Vs X-men movie?

I think every Marvel films are ruined by the Ultimate Universe. Fantastic
Four is a very good example as it was quite a departure from Lee/Kirby creation. (I am not going into why Human Torch is black.)

Just like the "The Ultimate" Avengers with government involvement from day
one, FF were kept on a short leash as soon as they got their powers and Reed Richards just bailed on them. This movie was even worse than one with cloud Galactus.
