"Deadpool" is one of those things you either get or you don't. A LOT of
people probably won't. For the rest of us, it's exactly what we would
want to see. Kudos to Ryan Reynolds for lobbying to save this character
from the treatment he received in the "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" movie.
Of course it's already on its way to being a franchise with talks of the character appearing in future X-Men films, etc. As the scope broadens so
does the audience, which will lead to a push for PG-13 rating in future installments, so this may well be the only appearance where the
character gets played to his fullest, undiluted form, but it's great to
see happen once anyway.
