    A.lot of the critics seemed to b latching on to the opportunity to make
    make duck jokes, and most of them seemed to have lost touch with their
    inner kid -- or even the teenager who reads Marvel comics.

    As for boxoffice, Marvel never gave Howard attention comparable to
    Spider-Man pr the Hulk or Captain America or some others. It was like
    making a movie about Jimmy Olsen or Tawky Tawny, but I'm glad they did
    it. I thought it was a lot of fun.

    Yes, the duck suit was a huge mistake. But, you buy the premise, you
    buy the bit.
