Has anyone read the aberdeen police procedures novel of stuart macbride.thanks to ebooks i'm working my way through them and have just finished 'flesh house' book three.the plotting is a bit tricky, but the characters are wonderful. i'm enjoying the
interplay between the protagonist ds logan mcrae and the other characters. not least his badass, putative girlfriend, jackie, who it seems has beaten to death a rapist and eluded a murder charge. his superiors, especially the predatory lesbian ds steele,
and ds fatty insch, who may not survive a major heart attack, are vastly amusing. i haven't enjoyed a police procedural as much since the harpur and illes books of bill james, who i also intend to catch up on thanks to ebooks. i recomend the macbride
series to anyone who enjoys heavy duty, cynical and amusing police procedurals.
