Wow this place is dead. Look at the auto messages in RAAC. Just decided
to check out usenet and this is one of the newsgroups I'd heard of,
mostly from fukufics guys. Well if anyone's here please say hello.

    Well I am subscribed.
But this group is pretty dead as are most of the anime and manga newsgroups.
A lot of people seem to have left or either RL or the modern
    net forums.

    bliss

Kind of tired, left out an "f" above but there is more activity
from more people than myself down at rec.arts.anime.misc. I post a lot
on rec.arts.manga but that about is about it.

That is why you need at least the filtering capabily of
Thunderbird but most action is down in the rec,arts.anime.misc
and rec.arts.manga. Most of the posting is on other media
like private blogs and Facebook. Maybe Reddit. Usenet
is social enough for me. This group was pretty much
dead when I started following anime and manga, but I
am conservative and try to keep following any group
I have an slight interest in.

Some of the Fan Fiction was really great like
Kimagure Orange College and a few others with crossovers
    between anime and manga.
