    If you have a reservation for 5, and you show up at the restaurant with 6, will the restaurant serve all 6?

    Yes. Have you ever seen a table for 5?? You'd be at a table for 6, so adding another person is not a problem. Even if you booked a party of 3 or 4 and showed up with 6, most likely they'd accomodate you.
