Hi typers and readers,
About 14 years back I watched Spirited Away
in the theatre in Nihon Machi at the corner of Fillmore and
Post Street. It convinced me to take up the watching and
study of anime. Watching Anime got me to look at Manga and
this evening I re-watched Spirited Away! I was surprised
at the detail I either did not remember or which I missed
on big screen viewing.
First time through I was really hooked on Babu's
rich decor and the detail in which it was rendered by
skilled human artists. At viewing I thought it was
computer rendered but was relieved of my misapprehensions
by a post on this Usenet Newsgroup.
As I mentioned missed some details and maybe I
have better glasses now. I was following the story closely
though and enjoying it as much as ever.
So Home Lock Down to slow the Covid-19 gave me
the chance of free time to watch the show and I am so
glad that the price of the DVD was low enough at the time
when I bought it a while back. Such a great show.
bliss - social distancing has been my thing for
years and easy to do these days.
