So how old are you now?

Orange Marmalade was one of the series I thought was good but it
has some unacceptable to Americans parts where the School Teacher runs
off with his student to teach in another part of Japan.

They watched episodes too close together forgetting that the
    intended format were weekly shows.
The concept of the possibility of the girl and boy being related
is a frequent trope and sometime it plays out tragically. See the
manga "3D KANOJO Manga" where they get very close then learn of the
    connection.

That's what I always liked about fansubs, you have to wait a week
between episodes if it's a new series, and it lets the story sink in and
allows people to discuss it and also builds up anticipation as to what
    will happen next.

I think broadcasters are nuts to broadcast an episode of a new TV series
and then say "you can watch the whole series online right now on our
iplayer", talk about shooting themselves in the foot, it's like they
don't want you to watch broadcast TV any more, they're like, "Here, take
the lot and don't come back, you .. TV viewer .. you!".

I rented the Orange Marmalade series from a local rental outlet now only doing retail if Covid did not wipe them out. I usually rented
a couple of disks each week on separate occasions and watched them twice
so I could have a reasonable idea of what was going on.

They make much more money when you pay for watching the iplayer
but that is what all mass media is about.
OM seemed like it was much deeper than it really was but it
was based on the misconceptions of a couple of High School kids as
to their somewhat liberated parents had done years before.
I read the manga as well and enjoyed it a bit.
