    Ever hear of a computer with a mailer/newsreader.
    So much spam comes out of Google accounts that I could cut my filters to a a tenth of their size without the the gmail accounts.
    So a lot of serious people on Usenet which is the content of the
    Google groups will pay extra not to be associated with that
    account provider.
