Twice every day I read the new manga list at one site and this has shown
up lately.
Notes: Hyougemono is nearly complete in its online release Up to
chapter 264 and they are all great. You may know that this manga
is about a real person who was a Samurai but was more interested in
art and primarily in the Art of the Tea Ceremony. He was a vassal
of Oda Nobumnga, Hideyoushi, and was a skilled diplomat. Ieyasu
die not trust this "Jocular Fellow" though and we are getting to
the part of the story where Ieyasu takes out his anger on Furita.
So might be done in a few weeks or next week.
And if you want an American comic to stand against the great manga
take a look at Dumbing of Age. It is daily strip started in 2010
about mostly Freshman college Students who are trying out new things
for the first time. The central character is a home-schooled
Creationist Christian who changes the most so far. David Willis
is the author and apparently he has the work habits of Tezuka or
Takahashi Rumiko. He has strips in his automaticaly downloading
until nearly next summer.

Without stories like this we would not see the first manga in
the list "Koukou Kyuuji Zawa-san". Possibly no "Yawara the fahionable
Judo Girl" which would be a tragedy.
