in the Graphic Novel section and there was "My Solo Exchange Diary".
She is trying to separate from her suffocating family atmosphere and
one part is writing diary entries to her future self. Apparently
the editors read her original work and were much impressed, so they
told her to continue in a similar vein.
This book is available at the some elite book stores and online
by mail order at the usual sources.
It is sort of auto-psychoanalysis.

So Genre is Non-Fiction, psychological, seinen(mature) and
a bit of yuri but not the kind most people would be turned on
by.
I found it a bit hard to read but mostly because the author
is in such pain, a bit relieved by the realistic ending.
