• The long term influence of Chaykin's American Flagg!!

From Ruben Safir@21:1/5 to All on Thu Jan 25 16:23:39 2018
I'm writing an article on Howard Chaykin and American Flagg!! and I'm
looking for source material on the reaction of editor, and creators to
the initial release of Flagg in 1983. I was reading somewhere that
Jannette Kahn at DC addressed the release of Flagg!! with efforts that eventually ended up in bringing on the Watchman, and Frank Millers work.
But I can't find the original source of this. It was a first hand
account by her at that time, possibly published in an letters column, or perhaps in Overstreet.

And sources anyone has, or ever recollections which can be accounted here
    would be appreciated.

I'm guessing it is too late to chime in, but chime in I will. I recall that Psychology Today ran an article on American Flagg about the same time the first issue shipped.
