OH NO!!!! For today's October 29, 2021 Peanuts (Classic) daily strip in newspapers and gocomics.com instead of a 1974 daily strip we are seeing a November 5, 1968 Peanuts daily strip featuring Charlie Brown and Linus ("My Grandma and I have been having a
philosophical arguement...") that was previously rerun on November 3, 2015 in the 1968 rerun cycle. Maybe it is replacing a 1974 Peanuts daily that is not suited for the 2021 year or maybe POLITICALLY INCORRECT for today's world? This is the first time
since 2019 when an earlier year Peanuts strip replaced a not suited for today's world or POLITICALLY INCORRECT Peanuts strip in a rerun cycle! (But be glad it's not late 1950's or early 1960's!) The last time this happened (back in September-October 2019)
was when 2 Peanuts 1972 Sundays with POLITICALLY INCORRECT or something like that Joe Eskimo references got replaced by 2 Peanuts 1966 Sunday strips!

I hope the 1974 strips resume tomorrow on October 30, 2021 so we can find out in a few days what 1974 Peanuts daily strip got snubbed out of the rerun cycle that might be POLITICALLY INCORRECT or something like that! Hope it isn't the October 31, 1974
Halloween related strip even as we get to the November-December 1974 arc where Peppermint Patty practices to take part in an ice skating competition!

With the last few weeks of 1974 for Peanuts rerun strips, we will be in a few weeks the 1975 Peanuts rerun cycle which will include many 1975 strips that replaced in the past 1969 and 1971-1974 not suited for past years in the first cycle Peanuts strips

This is perhaps my least favorite Peanuts sequence. I found it a very

I want to tell you something: How many people under, let's say, 40 years old would never have heard of D-Day if it hadn't been for Saving Private Ryan? Think about it.

Seems to me that, 60 years ago, history included Gettysburg

And today on June 7, 2022 the 1975 Peanuts strips resume with Charlie Brown trying to look for a Summer job.

Also: This week of Peanuts strips is the last week in that up to June 1975 size before the strip grew a little half inch in size the following week with Charlie Brown going to camp (and Peppermint Patty and Marcie taking part in the Powder Puff Derby at
    the same arc time).

By the way, the 1996 D-Day strip running Monday replaced the start of the 1975 Charlie Brown looking for a Summer job week long arc that started with Charlie Brown asking Violet about carpentry and hammer jobs and shows Violet he only has one nail.

To star things off: Regarding The June 29, 2015 Classic Peanuts: When we thought the 2 and a 1/2 week Peanuts Snoopy election week arc would be replaced by 1959 strips, instead we are seeing a 1969 strip previously rerun in 2005 regarding Lucy's hurt
knees while roller skating. Does this mean even if we get 1969 strips in place of 1968 strips the next 2 and a 1/2 weeks we night not see the 1969 strips again next year and maybe we might jump to a later Peanuts year never rerun before? It's too soon to
    tell...

OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For today's December 5, 2022 Peanuts Classic rerun instead of a 1975 strip we are getting a 1969 Peanuts strip that is replacing some kind of POLITICALLY INCORRECT 1975 Peanuts strip - Peppermint Patty in school previously rerun
in December 2005 and December 2016. Hope 1969 strips aren't replacing a week long Peanuts 1975 arc involving Marcie and football! Or even at least one of the Peanuts late December 1975 Bicentennial related strips!

I know in late October 2022 a Veteran's Day strip from 1975 during the Linus/Peppermint Patty Great Pumpkin arc did get rerun even when Veteran's Day is currently in November since the late 1970's!

Rumor has it rerunning a 1969 week from 2016 may be part of what A-M is rerunning December 5-10, 2016 strips this week thanks to the pre Thanksgiving 2022 GoComics glitch site problem.

Second day in a row for 1969 replacing 1975 which would be all week. So...

The reason for the 1969 week snubbing a 1975 week is because of the pre Thanksgiving GoComics.com site outage that made many comic strips owned by Andrews-McMeel miss the 12/5-12/10 week, but with many to resume next week with new strips…I speculate
for the Peanuts Classic strips when they resume 1975 strips next week: 1) The Peppermint Patty/Marcie is either skipped or 2) It is run next week and takes the place of some not suitable for current time mini arcs from 1975 (Snoopy practicing for the
Olympics in Austria, Sally making 2 plans for the Bicentennial), and possibly the 1975 Christmas strips still get run as well as the December 16 Beethoven’s birthday strip. Unless…3) The Peanuts 1975 strips get run a week forward in order even as we
get in a few weeks the 1976 Peanuts strips unless the holiday related strips are slated for the right days.
