I thought it'd be instructive to compile each "must-rating" rating given in the various "For the Official RACS Comics Page" threads of days of yore into one spot. These come from the great bite-sized reviews Joseph Nebus posted from 2011-2017. Here'swhat we've got:
It's approaching 5 years since some of these last ratings were given. Anything to add since then?
"must-rating" ratingHa. Make that "must-read" rating.
FWIW, here's what I read daily:
Just to have something to be exasperated with & inertia, really.
Goofy time travel fun.
Goofy space fun.
Now what it was; I miss the longer arcs,
like the hopeful little dog on the
chain, but still OK.
A surprisingly good continuation of a legacy strip.
I like that Capp has taken on a bit of an avuncular
tone to the younger cast, setting them straight (or bent)
with a "Lad,..."
On sufferance
"https://www.gocomics.com/overthehedge/" \
I can take the occasional political jabs for the
general good natured fun.
Not sure when, like The Simpsons, it became all
about dad, but it has its moments.
I like the new team's take on Blanche/Wiz as an older
couple who actually love each other. The previous
always-at-loggerheads take was cliche.
On sufferance for what it was.
Still has some really funny takes
"https://www.comicskingdom.com/blondie/"
Rarely great, but never awful.
Harmless
"https://www.comicskingdom.com/phantom/"
Sometimes I can get into it, sometimes I can't
"https://www.comicskingdom.com/popeye/"
The same storylines recycle every few years. Still
they were decent ones.
Meh. I probably wouldn't add it if it weren't already there
"https://www.comicskingdom.com/sally-forth/"
Oddball surrealism in suburbia.
Consistently very good. I have all the collections
as well.
Years ago, looked like it was going to improve and go
somewhere. It didn't, but I keep it for the naked girls.
In reruns, but still a classic. "Bag Wag Sing" still
cracks me up.
Nuff said
"https://www.oglaf.com/"
Used to attempt longer storylines more often, but still
good for a (usually NSFW) laugh.
A spider based superheroine. About 50% less series than
a superhero comic book.
Good for a chuckle.
In re-runs, and infrequently very good.
Like him or not, Adams still delivers.
Recaptioned romance comics art. Good for a chuckle.
Ces's (Sally Forth) other venue. Used to have original
strips like "Teenage Girl President", lately it's just
infrequently updated SF reprints, sometimes with commentary.
We're well past the glory days of the "Shrinkwrappe" collection
but still a godd one now and then.
She can push my buttons, but often very good, funny slice of
life stuff.
Willy & Ethyl are sort of the American Andy Capp & Flo.
The sportsfest storyline has been going on forever, but
had some very good days, especialy with the gonzo bird stuff.
Sometimes touching sometimes funny, often both.
Unfortunately, 9 Chickweed Lane has become a total disaster.

[Note: what's the ruling on strips that are re-runs on GoComics or elsewhere? Some of these reruns are among my must-reads -- even having read through the entire run more than once (!) -- but perhaps we are sticking to first-run for this? Eager to hearopinions on this, I would add a few more if the freely-available re-runs are fair game!]
Some more of my faves that I don't think I have seen mentioned yet:

I think reruns are fair game!
