Seriously. You really need to quit with that. Nobody else cares about that detail except you.And for the second Sunday in a row, it is "Jeff and Bil Keane" signed instead of "Bil and Jeff Keane" signed.
And what's even more annoying? Running an FC strip that's TWICE RECYCLED!!!
Yes. On Memorial Day, Lazy Jeffy has gone with another twice-recycled gag and in both of its' previous occurrences, the strips ran on May 30th.
First, we go to May 30, 1994. Thel's hair was tweaked.

And then the gag was recycled again just six years ago in 2016 (the same month the Tampa Tribune ended). This time Dolly's caption was...
"Guess what, Mommy. There's no school today, so you get to sleep in."

As an FYI, school is already over in some parts of the U.S. including where I live (and it wasn't always like that. My high school graduation day was June 9, 1998.
Why can't Lazy Jeffy just admit he's completely run out of new ideas and just end this strip already?!?!?

Well, we have our first 2023 occurrence of Lazy Jeffy resorting to run a strip that has been twice-recycled.
The original occurrence of the gag was from January 20, 1992. It was first recycled just this past year.
Why can't Lazy Jeffy just admit that he's completely out of new ideas?!?!? And Brian has to wonder why my Tampa Bay Times decided to drop Fox Trot but somehow keep FC (of course Fox Trot has been Sunday-only since 2007)?
