    *My* headcanon for Slime is, they are raised on a ranch near Pendleton,
    Oregon. The same ranch produces intelligent dogs and buffaloes, plus a mouselike creature who can pilot a steamboat. When the Powernaut visits
    the ranch, it is an easy trip from Power City. 8{D>
