    I take it this is unrelated to the video game "Injustice" I have seen
    trailers for on some of my DC Animated movies.

    That one appears to be just a bunch of fights, with the various heroes
    getting upgrades. Ho-hum.

    rather than "Injustice".

    Since the film is based on "Injustice: Gods Among Us", the answer to
    my question is: the film is /related/ to the game whose trailer I saw,
    but is based on an earlier game in the same series.
