Four volumes, I to IV. Text in French. Published at Paris au Bureau des Publications Illustrees, 1842. Half leather covers, with gilt designs on spine with tooled leather and marbled board. Small library bookplate in each volume, but no other
library markings, with tiny bookbinders/bookseller's label from Hearne of Strand in England on same endpaper. Volume 1 608 pp, Volume 2, 624 pp, Volume 3 584 pp, Volume 4 571 pp. Fold out map. Over 30 engravings. Condition of binding is firm with
all covers well attached. Leather section of one volume was reglued back on. There is some chipping of leather on spine on Volume 1 but most of other volumes are well preserved. Textblocks are mostly clean with relatively little staining and minimal
foxing except moderately at beginning and end of volumes. Cannot ship priority unless privately arranged prior to purchase.
