A few corrections to your post. Archie was best friends with my dad, Leonard Miller from age of 16. He lived on Evergreen Rd, Detroit Mi & Westland Mi from 1957 thru late 1980s on August St.
His daughter Marie was like my sister. She was born 7-12-1946 and adopted by Archie & Bertha but was killed in Va, enroute from Fla to Oakland County airport, where the plane hit a mountain side. Marie was piloting & incorrect instructions from the
Indianapolis air control caused some mis-directions etc.
Archie & Bertha would vacation in Fla for the winters, eventually moving to Evansville Indiana.
I have tons of pics of Archie,Bertha & Marie if anyone is interested.He was the best friend-brother my dad could have. They were both only children.
He is sadly missed & was a true gentleman
