Not captured on tape but at Denver 1982 DCI contest, we (BD's) had 72 sickies with the ickies although we still ended up winning - on the starting line we had just finished warming up and a judge came up to the snare line and smiled and said he had
heard about so many of our corps being sick yet no one was sitting out and said "who do I need to stay away from if I don't want to get barfed on?" The snare line did not have time to answer yet no one ended up throwing up until after we were off the
field and the performance was over.

When we played Muchacho's opener "Pictures of Spain" and the soloist was lifted up in the air by our rifle - line, a judge at Music Bowl I said "Where Did You Pick Him Up?" "Then giggles with delight at how good the soloist played and then commented "
