Has anyone heard of a drum corps called the Blue Angels?

There was once a corps that went by "Blue Angels" that was from Renton, WA...(not totally sure on the time period) but they where possibly active in the '50s and '60s, I wanna say.

Also, I do believe there was a corps from back east(or midwest) that was named
    the Blue Angels as well.

There was indeed a Blue Angels from Renton. My grandfather was the corps director, my dad played bass drum, and two of my uncles were in the horn line. They played French Horn and Soprano if I remember correctly. I'm not sure the exact years they were
active, but I know it was around the early 60's.

Yes I started in the thunderbird cadets in 1963ish. Were issues so many of us went to the Blue Angels. Then Rob Stubbs and Jack Avery stated the Cascade Cadets and I was a member until 1971. Just watched the Dci finals in indy. Quite a change from the
    1960s..
